My "boyfriends"

Ever since I met John Green at TLA, I have referred to him as my boyfriend. I have even referred to him as my boyfriend on A True Reality. It is silly and juvenile, so it is hardly surprising that I felt a little embarrassed when John Green himself visited our blog on one of the days I referred to him as my boyfriend. But, I do not have to feel foolish about it anymore because the Queen of YA Literature, Meg Cabot, also has boyfriends. And she's married, too! So it is perfectly normal. My other boyfriends are Colin Firth and John Cusack. Who are your boyfriends?

p.s. I feel as though I used the term "boyfriend" a ridiculous number of times in this post. Very unseeming for a married woman.

Yes, if Meg Cabot can have boyfriends, so can you!

I don't know who mine are. I think Adam Levine of Maroon 5 is hot and he wore a "feminist" shirt on GMA a couple of years ago, so of course, I love that. Josh Duhamel and Jude Law are hot, but I don't know that any of these people reach "boyfriend" status. I liked when James Lipton said "words" turn him on, but I just can't bring myself to like him enough to make him a boyfriend. Maybe Guy Forsyth?

I'll think about it and keep you posted.

I know it's trite, but I think Edward is my YA lit boyfriend, but they need to kiss already!

Oh yeah, you have good taste in boyfriends.

Ooh, YA lit boyfriend...that's a good idea. Edward is definitely mine, too. Also, Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables series.

OK, I totally agree with you on the whole Colin Firth thing...I watched Bridget Jones the Edge of Reason this past weekend, and I was like, damn I want boyfriend like that!

Then of course there's my old favorite John Legend. He's not necessarily that physically attractive, but get him behind a piano, and I'm like DAMN!!!
